JESUS OF NAZARETH  - William Barclay

“The tortured figures were shifting continuously in a vain effort to ease their pain. Aram, bordering on delirium, screamed wildly at Jesus. ‘If you are the Christ why don’t you save us?’ But Joah, speaking with difficulty, rebuked him. ‘Leave him alone. He did nothing wrong. He did – nothing but right.’ With a desperate sob he tried to turn his head toward Jesus. ‘Remember me when you come into your kingdom,’ he said.

‘Today,’ Jesus said, ‘you will be with me in paradise.’”
